Small stones: Smattering of snow

Out of the window, the sun just up over the hill now golden brown like the song, a smattering of snow has settled on the garden arch, the rose stems, on the top of the wall. It resembles Icelandic ash and laughingly triggers memories of the recent unprecedented snow that  locked us inside otherworldly snow globes. ‘I’m still here’ says Nature wagging it’s great meteorological finger.

Alison, it sounds like you’re sitting here with me enduring this horrid 0 degree and 6, now 8, now 10 inches of snow. I can’t wait for summer!

It’s because of this beautiful way you weave words that you deserve this: http://wp.me/pxgHj-n1
