I love your post over on writing.ie. I don’t think short stories will ever die. I have developed more of a love for them (both reading and writing) than ever recently and even though I put my own collection together for myself really, to have all my significant stories in one place, and also as a test run to see if I can put a book together myself, there has been an encouraging side effect. People have actually been buying the book, people I don’t even know, from places I’ve never visited. I am a little known writer with a self published story collection and people are buying it. That can’t be bad.
